Uthabiti Africa exists to ensure that all children 0-8 years old across Africa have an opportunity to survive and thrive. It builds partnerships with governments, funders, and local organisations interested in advancing quality, affordable childcare. Uthabiti Africa prioritises initiatives that improve the socio-economic power of caregivers as well as policy and regulatory reforms at the national and local levels.
As the childcare ecosystem in Africa is underdeveloped, significant effort is required to ensure that existing and new actors have the necessary capacity to design and deliver high-quality programmes to caregivers and children under the age of eight.
Organisations must focus on childcare for children under eight and work in one of the countries where Uthabiti Africa operates.
