Mission

AFM advocates for implementing international, regional and national policies to reduce forced migration and empower displaced people in Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa by addressing their developmental and rehabilitation needs. It offers comprehensive support and rehabilitation services to displaced people, focusing on sustainable development, conflict resolution and capacity-building to foster self-reliance and improve quality of life.

AFM provides fiscal hosting services to grassroots community-based organisations to ensure ownership and sustainability of community projects and to enable them to resolve community problems by responding to community needs through local resource mobilisation.
