Mission

CSBAG aims to ensure that resource mobilisation, allocation and utilisation are inclusive for a transformed Uganda. It influences government decisions on resource mobilisation and utilisation for equitable and sustainable development, advocates for increased transparency and accountability in national priorities, financing and public spending at all levels, and builds and strengthens CSBAG's capacity to carry out its mandate.

CSBAG provides fiscal hosting services to emerging non-profit organisations whose objectives align with its mission. Supporting their administrative needs ensures the efficient and transparent management of resources while fostering accountability and compliance with financial regulations and government requirements. CSBAG builds the capacity of these organisations, enabling them to grow and effectively contribute to the shared goal of influencing the government's budget priorities and promoting equitable and sustainable development.

Organisations must align with CSBAG's mission and focus on budget advocacy, resource mobilisation and equitable development, be a registered non-profit entity or in the process of obtaining non-profit status, have a clear governance structure, demonstrate a commitment to financial transparency and accountability, be actively engaged in or planning activities related to budget advocacy, public resource management or similar fields, and be willing to collaborate with CSBAG and other stakeholders to advance shared goals.

Experience with fiscal hosting: 4 to 5 years
Fiscal hosting portfolio size: Between US$50 000 and US$100 000
Fee structure for offering fiscal hosting services : Between 5% and 10% of the funds managed
Proportion of total funding in 2023 that formed part of fiscal hosting services: Between 6% and 10%
