Mission

PIND builds partnerships for peace and equitable economic development in Nigeria's Niger Delta and aims to achieve a legacy of sustainable peace and development among communities in the region. It reduces poverty through economic development programmes, fosters stability through the Partners for Peace (P4P) Network and the Integrated Peace Development Units, supports youth employment through training in market-relevant skills, powers coastal communities with access to low-cost renewable energy and empowers local organisations through capacity-building and training initiatives.

It is well-resourced, has access to diverse market and development actors, expertise in partnership and network development, robust data assets for evidence-based investment, solid convening power, and a strong and committed workforce.
