JFCU promotes and protects the rights of vulnerable children in Uganda. It aims to end violence against children through capacity-building, advocacy, and psychosocial and legal support to build a safer and more equitable environment for children, ensuring that they grow up with the dignity and opportunities they deserve. JFCU's services include educational support, child protection programmes, health services and advocacy campaigns.
JFCU supports grassroots organisations through institutional development interventions. It strengthens learning and coordination for 34 Girls First Fund grantees in Uganda by connecting them with opportunities, promoting their work across various platforms and helping them build their capacity. It also supports organisations lacking the necessary documentation and related requirements to access funding.
