Mission

SYS empowers girls and young women to be active agents of their own development by igniting the power within them to reach their full potential. Its services include case management, counselling sessions, leadership training, community engagement dialogues and skills training.

Motivation and Objectives

The plight of the girl child is the driving force that fuels SYS to be a fiscal host. Girls across Zimbabwe are exposed to various forms of abuse in their homes and communities. SYS seeks to protect and promote children's rights, particularly the girl child.

Eligibility Criteria

Organisations must be registered, non-partisan and have a proven track record and functional governance structures.

Experience with fiscal hosting: 6 to 10 years

Fiscal hosting portfolio size: Less than US$50 000

Fee structure for offering fiscal hosting services : Less than 5% of the funds managed

Proportion of total funding in 2023 that formed part of fiscal hosting services: Between 6% and 10%
