Mission

TKC aspires to be a mediating institution that conceptualises, identifies, designs, clarifies and articulates proactive mechanisms to increase policy proficiency, effectiveness and efficiency. It aims to enhance public participation and input to achieve the common good and pursue the ideals of good governance. TKC envisions a more humane, democratic and free society where citizens live in true freedom, unencumbered by structures of exclusion based on ethnic, religious or social status, or economic or gender differences. It actively strengthens national debate, improves governance and encourages Nigerians to take an active role in the country's leadership.

TKC nurtures emerging initiatives that align with its mission of promoting peace, good governance and social cohesion in Nigeria. By providing its administrative, financial and governance infrastructure, TKC enables grassroots organisations and projects to focus on their core activities without the burden of complex management tasks. This support fosters innovation and impact in areas that might otherwise be underserved, advancing TKC's objectives of societal development and stability.

European Union Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria

Organisations engaged in activities that contradict TKC's core values, including those linked to political partisanship, religious extremism or any form of discrimination, are not eligible.
