ZCSD is an umbrella organisation of NGOs, CBOs and FBOs operating in Zambia. It has an active member base of more than 100 organisations. ZCSD facilitates sustainable, socio-economic development through collaboration and networking among NGOs, CBOs, cooperating partners and other stakeholders. It promotes and supports people-centred policies and programmes that catalyse long-term development, eradicate poverty and harmful cultural traditions and norms, and build resilience among vulnerable, marginalised and rural communities while considering the sustainable use of natural resources.
ZCSD is an active roleplayer in strengthening local organisations, building resilient and responsive partnerships, and mobilising resources.
