ZAF improves learning outcomes for children and youth who are furthest behind, including girls and young women. It envisions an Africa where every child and young person learns and thrives. ZAF aims to achieve this by consolidating evidence, innovating solutions and advocating to shape policy and practice to equip all children and youth with learning, living and working competencies.
ZAF supports children and young people through education. It forms partnerships and networks with relevant parties. Hosting the Regional Education Learning Initiative demonstrated its capabilities to support and improve educational functions through partnerships.

Organisations must align with ZAF's values and goals, demonstrate project management capacity, maintain financial stability, and comply with all legal, financial and operational reporting requirements set by ZAF.
