Mission

FCS empowers Tanzania's civil society sector to advance effective citizen agency as a catalyst for a sustainable and inclusive future. It supports the development of a dynamic civic ecosystem and meaningful partnerships across sectors. FCS aims to strengthen civil society by providing grants and empowering individuals and organisations through improved governance and capacity-building. As an active development facilitator, FCS encourages innovation, enhances collaboration, drives impact across various sectors and supports civil society actors in becoming more agile, responsive and impactful in their efforts.

FCS provides fiscal hosting services to empower civil society organisations by offering them financial management support and credibility. It enables organisations to focus on their core activities and access funding and resources to enhance their ability to effect meaningful change in their communities.
