IDEG generates knowledge and enhances citizens' capacity to influence public policy to consolidate democracy and good governance in Ghana and the rest of Africa. It focuses on policy research, advocacy, interface capacity-building and deployment, and knowledge networking.
IDEG supports a thriving civil society and promotes democratic governance, which provides the motivation for offering fiscal hosting services. It aims to assist growing or smaller organisations that are struggling to meet the requirements of the law and manage their finances. IDEG builds their capacity by providing the necessary administrative and financial support, promotes accountability by ensuring rigorous financial standards and fosters collaboration by connecting organisations with its network of partners and stakeholders.
