ABOUT US
Since 2016, the One Economy Foundation has been tackling Namibia’s socioeconomic divide by investing in
young people and underserved communities in Namibia. Through our programmes and service offerings, we
have supported youth with education, entrepreneurship, healthcare and safe spaces.
MISSION
To transform the lives of African youth to thrive as healthy, productive members of society.
VISION
We create an enabling ecosystem by providing integrated youth-centric services.
The One Economy Foundation can provide fiscal hosting to extend our enabling ecosystem to aligned, youth-serving initiatives.
Our motivation is to remove administrative and compliance barriers that prevent grassroots changemakers from reaching scale in Namibia and Africa, while safeguarding donor accountability through our established financial, safeguarding and governance systems.
Our objectives are to:
(i) channel resources to emerging organisations advancing youth health, education, anti-violence and economic inclusion;
(ii) strengthen Namibia's civil-society ecosystem for partners; and
(iii) accompany hosted initiatives towards organisational independence and long-term sustainability.

The One Economy Foundation maintains active institutional relationships and partnerships across Namibia's public, civil-society and donor ecosystems, including the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS), the Walvis Bay Corridor Group and the Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA).
We engage regularly with regional and global youth, SRH and GBV platforms convened by UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women, and PEPFAR/USAID-linked implementers.
We host organisations and initiatives whose work aligns with our focus areas of youth health, education, entrepreneurship, anti-violence and youth empowerment, and which prioritise marginalised young people.
Hosted partners must demonstrate a credible delivery model, ethical leadership, willingness to comply with our financial, safeguarding and reporting policies, and a commitment to results-based reporting. We do not host initiatives engaged in partisan political activity, religious proselytisation, or work that conflicts with our youth-friendly and non-judgemental approach.
