SCAT provides funding, capacity-building and technical support to rural community-based organisations working on access to justice, gender equality, climate change, food security and the fight to end GBV. It also conducts research in these areas, elevating the rural advocacy voice.

Eligibility Criteria

Community-based organisations working to advance issues of social justice, primarily in rural areas.

Experience with fiscal hosting: Over 10 years

Fiscal hosting portfolio size: Between US$50 000 and US$100 000

Fee structure for offering fiscal hosting services : Between 5% and 10% of the funds managed

Proportion of total funding in 2023 that formed part of fiscal hosting services: Between 4% and 5%

Number of clients serviced between 2021 -2023:
